Our Matroskya pouches are named after the Russian nesting dolls of old and designed for the Recon 9 EVADE, Evade 2.0 and now the new Evade 1.5 backpacks. Each set comes with four differently sized pouches, each nested inside the other.

It is currently available in:

Each pouch has 2 (two) zippered compartments; a vertical in front and a horizontal in the rear.

Each pouch is easily mounted by slotting the top 1" rectangular buckle (what we call a hanger) into any PALS webbing setup (what some call a MOLLE panel) or a d-ring of appropriate size so as to hold it in place.

Dimensions of the largest to smallest as follows:

• 15" x 10.75"
• 12" x 8.75"
• 9.5" x 7.75"
• 7.5" x 5.5"

The largest 2 (two) pouches has 2 (two) hangers and the smallest 2 (two) have only 1 (one) each. These pouches are extremely versatile can be used to hold anything from IFAKs, toiletries to a change of clothing.

Main compartment:

• Front wall has our 2 zippered pockets design (top fabric, bottom mesh).
• Back wall holds the padded & suspended sleeve for your rucking plate or laptop.

Rucking Plate / Laptop Compartment:

• The sleeve design is a hybrid. It is part of the main compartment but it can be easily accessed via the top quick access zipper that's behind the carry handle.
• Tested to fit up to a current 15" MacBook Pro.

Front pockets:

• Top front QAP (quick access pocket) that is approximately 9" x 5.5" with a 4" x 2.25" loop patch in front with matching fabric cover.
• Side zippered access CCW pocket that is approximately 10" x 10".
• This CCW pocket has a loop back wall for you to mount a hook & loop compatible holster like our V-Kit.

Other Features:

• Back panel and shoulder / strap harness out of 500D and EVA close cell foam,
• Stretch bottle pockets out of MMI's SAMI Wander fabric, easily holds up to 40 oz Nalgene.
• Removable compression strap.
• Webbing mounts on the bottom of pack for optional carry straps.

All our products are developed and manufactured in our own Studio in Saigon, Vietnam using materials sourced from the US, Korea, Taiwan and domestically. 

Our new Matroskya DEEP pouches are similar in design to the original Matros except these have some additional depth (thickness). These are made out of clear PVC (top) and Mesh (sides & bottom). Because the sides and bottom are made of Mesh there is some flex that allows you to stuff more in each pouch. These work great in the Recon 9 EVADE backpacks but can also be used in other packs/bags that have a loop wall. Each set comes with three (3) differently sized pouches, each nested inside the other.

Unlike the original Matro, each pouch has one (1) zippered compartment; a vertical in front. But these pouches also have two rows of 1.5” hooks that allow you to mount these on loop walls.

PENGUIN POUCHES

We created the Penguin at the request of a group that wanted an organizer pouch capable of being used for medical supplies as well as tools and miscellaneous items.  

The Penguin comes in two different sizes (SINGLE and DOUBLE) and has the following features:

• Webbing and Shock cord on the front for placing items such as Tournaquets and Dressings.
• Clamshell Zipper Opening
• Interior dividers for tools/meds/supplies
• Web Grab Handle
• 3" Belt loops
• Hook backing for use in modular packs/platforms to allow function as a "Break Away" pouch or blowout kit.
